FOXO4-DRI Reconstitution Calculator
For in vitro research use only · Not medical advice
Preset to a 10 mg FOXO4-DRI vial in 2 mL of diluent. A 10 mg vial in 2 mL yields 5 mg/mL. Use low-bind tubes for dilutions and keep solutions out of the light.
FOXO4-DRI reconstitution
Preset to a common FOXO4-DRI vial size and diluent volume. Adjust any field for your own laboratory protocol.
A 10 mg FOXO4-DRI vial reconstituted with 2 mL gives 5 mg/mL. Measuring 0.100 mL gives 500 mcg per portion — about 20 portions from the vial.
Choosing a diluent for FOXO4-DRI
Strongly basic — the sequence carries many arginine and lysine residues — so it dissolves readily in plain aqueous diluent without acidification. The same positive charge makes it stick to negatively charged surfaces such as untreated glass.
Handling notes for FOXO4-DRI
- Let the vial reach room temperature before opening.
- Add diluent gently down the vial wall and swirl; do not vortex.
- Use low-bind polypropylene rather than glass for dilutions — the cationic tail adsorbs to glass.
- Protect solutions from light.
After reconstitution
USP-grade sterile bacteriostatic water, 10 mL multi-use vial.
