AOD-9604 Reconstitution Calculator
For in vitro research use only · Not medical advice
Preset to a 10 mg AOD-9604 vial in 2 mL of diluent. A 10 mg vial in 2 mL yields 5 mg/mL. Keep the stock near neutral pH and free of reducing agents.
AOD-9604 reconstitution
Preset to a common AOD-9604 vial size and diluent volume. Adjust any field for your own laboratory protocol.
A 10 mg AOD-9604 vial reconstituted with 2 mL gives 5 mg/mL. Measuring 0.100 mL gives 500 mcg per portion — about 20 portions from the vial.
Choosing a diluent for AOD-9604
Water-soluble at ordinary working strengths. Two arginines give it a small net positive charge at neutral pH, which offsets the stretch of hydrophobic residues (Leu, Ile, Val, Phe). Avoid any diluent or buffer containing reducing agents such as DTT, TCEP or β-mercaptoethanol — they open the disulfide that defines the molecule.
Handling notes for AOD-9604
- Let the vial reach room temperature before opening.
- Add diluent gently down the vial wall and swirl; do not vortex.
- Keep reducing agents (DTT, TCEP, β-mercaptoethanol) and alkaline buffers away from the stock.
- Label aliquots with reconstitution date and diluent.
After reconstitution
