FOXO4-DRI in Canada: The Peptide That “Reverses Aging”?
Kobi Williams · Popular Peptides Canada ·
FOXO4-DRI is a peptide built from mirror-image (D-) amino acids, designed to break the link between two proteins, FOXO4 and p53, that helps senescent cells survive. In a 2017 study in Cell, a Dutch team reported that it restored fur, fitness and kidney function in fast-aging mice, and improved kidney function in naturally old mice; a 2020 study in old mice reported better testosterone output. We found no published human trial of FOXO4-DRI, and it is not approved as a medicine anywhere.
Striking results in mice. No published human trials.

[0:00]“The peptide that reverses aging.” That’s how FOXO4-DRI gets sold online. So has it reversed aging in anyone? Let’s check.
[0:08]FOXO4-DRI is a peptide built from mirror-image amino acids. It targets senescent cells, the so-called zombie cells that stop dividing but refuse to die. It breaks a link between two proteins, FOXO4 and p53, that helps those cells survive.
[0:23]In 2017, a Dutch team published it in the journal Cell. In fast-aging mice, it brought back fur, fitness and kidney function. In normally old mice, kidney function improved. A 2020 study in old mice reported better testosterone output. That’s impressive mouse data.
[0:39]In people? We couldn’t find a single published human trial. Not one. The company set up to develop the idea is still at the lab stage.
[0:47]FOXO4-DRI isn’t approved as a medicine anywhere. So: real science, mice with thicker fur, and zero humans. Read the studies, not the anti-aging ads.
